SPAWNER SURVEYS

Every fall, the salmon return to Stoney Creek. First to arrive are the Chum, usually by the middle of October, then followed by the Coho. To find a good location to view the spawners, download the Spawner Viewing Map.

We have weekly surveys on alternating Saturdays and Sundays. We follow the protocol in the Streamkeepers Handbook Module 12. This is one of our most exciting activities. Please see the CALENDAR for the next session.
