SCEC was well represented at the Wild About Burnaby Lake event that took place on Sunday, June 10. In addition to our booth, staffed by 4 of our members, our President made a presentation about Stoney Creek and the work that we do, which was well received. The kids who came by were most interested in the bird nests we had on display. Due to the weather forecast, attendance wasn’t as high as expected, but we were fortunate that the clouds didn’t roll in until it was almost time to pack up!
